 Policies & Procedure

How to get started?

Introduce yourself! Submit a walking request online or give us a call! Dave or Erin will follow up with an introductory phone call.

Let’s Meet! We will set up a Meet & Greet at your home so that we can meet you and your dog. We will provide an introduction to our Walking Model, assess your dog’s general behavior & energy, review our pick up and drop off routine and answer any other questions you may have.

Based off the M&G and dog evaluation your dog will be integrated into one of our Pack Leaders groups. If not already filled out ahead of time, we will send you our Contract & Pet Profile form to review, fill out and sign. Once all the paperwork is received, you will be emailed your account and login information for Pet Check where you will have access to your dog(s) schedule, as well as billing.

Now your dog is ready to hit the trails!

Scheduling Policy

You can sign up for walks with a minimum of 2 days to a maximum of 5 days per week. Commitment to a minimum of one month is requested. Unfortunately, short term or temporary schedules are not available.

Cancellation Policy

You are signing up for a 1 month commitment in advance with MTD. You will need to confirm your schedule (with any changes or cancellations) by the 1st of every month. Any cancellations thereafter (in the same month) will result in a late fee which is equal to the full rate of 1 dog walk. All late fee cancellations can be contested at the end of the month, in which you will have the opportunity to discuss these charges. We understand that you may need to cancel multiple days due to vacations, business trips, or emergencies that may be out of your control. We do honor our client’s loyalty and will always be open to discuss appropriate refunds or credits.

Daily Walks: Monday-Friday

We have a Morning Group and Afternoon Group. Pick up times are between 9-11 AM and 12-2 PM. We give ourselves a two hour window due to unforeseen circumstances that may be out of our control, such as no shows, traffic, weather and other emergencies. However, we almost always arrive on the earlier side of the window. Your dog will be away for a maximum of 3 hours (including pick up/drop offs) and your dog will be on their hike for a minimum 1 hour.
